An Online Community for Marketing Communications Professionals in the Education Sector
Welcome to Educommunicators

In the education sector, businesses and policymakers now realize the growing importance of effective communications to sell their products and policies.  For professional communicators, the education sector is one of growing opportunity, a place use the best in communication ability to make a lasting difference on the community and the nation at large.

To date, though, there has been no strong voice for the many marketing, PR, public affairs, creative, and general communications professionals that serve the educator sector.  Traditional PR societies have ignored education as an industry sector.  And communications has been but a small part of the official education association infrastructure.  Until now.

Educommunicators.com was created to give voice to the education communications professional.  Through this site, its companion blog, and sites such as www.facebook.com and www.linkedin.com, education pros now have an online voice for their profession and their passions.

Educommunicators.com is intended to grow and evolve, based on the needs and the desires of this online community.  Give it your voice!  Use it to improve our craft and improve our field.

As we move forward, we will look for companies, not-for-profits, agencies, and individuals to spotlight.  We will highlight new projects and new initiatives.  We will post new job opportunities.  Most importantly, we will share information so we can become a real community.

Please contact me at patrick@educommunicators.com with your contributions.  The success of this effort depends on your participation.

Best,

Patrick R. Riccards
Founder and Chairman, Educommunicators
